Treiso: some information
Treiso is a small village nestled among the vineyards of the Barbaresco Langhe, in the heart of the Langhe and Piedmont.
Treiso is a lookout overlooking the vineyards, a balcony over the Langhe. The imposing parish church that overlooks the central square protects and makes the village important.
But Treiso also has an ancient history- even Neolithic history. Recently, some archaeological discoveries have unearthed one of the few sites of the old Piedmontese Neolithic period.
Even if you are not an expert in Roman history, it is still intriguing to think that the Roman Empire had arrived in these parts and traveled the same paths. We know that around the year 1000, a monastery had been founded in the hamlet “Montersino.” Moreover, it is known that a church dedicated to St. Alexander had been built even earlier.

You are not “forced” to follow the track; it’s just a suggestion. If you have appointments in the winery or elsewhere, you must respect them.
In case of bad weather (rain forecast on the Aeronautical Weather website 48 hours before the event with a probability of 50% or more) it will be possible to:
- postpone the experience by agreeing on a new date at no extra charge
- cancel the whole event and receive a refund of the amount paid minus 15 euro per person retained for organizational costs.
