Our tours are designed to be autonomous: thanks to our personalized and controlled tracks to follow on your cell phone.

We know that a guide can be a great added value and you can request one if you wish!

Details of each tour are provided after confirmation and payment (down payment or balance as appropriate) of the tour.

If you are not comfortable with what I can choose for you, I can tell you that we have been serving happy clients for 5 years and here is the proof 🙂

But that’s not enough! If there is something wrong, when you get the details (this has NEVER happened!!), we talk about it and find alternatives (within the budget of course 😛 !) and according to availability. 

 

Our routes do not include dirt tracks. If you would like an e-bike tour with gravel trails, I can arrange it with a licensed bike tour guide.

We always try to offer you paved and, as far as possible, not too busy routes. Our tours are about 30-40 km long, which, with an e-bike, is a reasonable and pleasant route. The total height difference is always between 500 and 600 meters.  We also have less demanding routes, but it also depends on the tour you choose and the stages you want to visit!

Our routes have all been tested. It may happen, in exceptional cases, that there are interruptions and/or detours. We apologize in advance, as we cannot be informed about everything in good time 🙂

Once we receive the request we will work to check availability and we will respond as soon as possible. Once the availability is confirmed by us, you can then proceed with the payment by bank transfer, credit card or Satispay.

We’ve fine-tuned and tested several trails over time and want to share them with you!

You will receive a trail to follow on your phone. You will have to download an APP that we will show you. You will simply have to take you to the starting point, follow the arrow that will lead you through beautiful landscapes, at your own pace and without haste and without fear of getting lost!  The track will also include the various appointments/maps of your Tour.

You are not “required” to follow the path, it’s just a suggestion. Obviously, if you have cellar appointments or anything else you will need to ensure that you keep them.

Let’s just say that if the weather is really inclement, it can compromise the day! Otherwise, a little bit of risk sometimes can also be part of the experience. If it doesn’t rain a lot some activities can still be done!

For some packages, there are no problems because they don’t depend on the weather. If instead we are talking about outdoor activities, we can find alternatives such as winery tastings, lunches in osteria…or if you can, we could postpone!

The fact that we are a group implies a greater organizational effort (even for you I imagine!) and therefore it is advisable to contact us AT LEAST 3 weeks before the event, but the sooner the better!

What we can tell you is that it is very difficult for us to accept bookings less than a week before the requested date.

Obviously, we are talking about tours that do not include overnight stays, because in that case, the minimum time (but really minimum!) is 15 days before the date of the event. Then it depends on the periods and on the availability of us and of our collaborators…however, let’s say that the sooner you contact us, the more sure you are that we can serve you better.

Some of our tours cannot be adapted in case of allergies, intolerances or food preferences such as vegetarian/vegan. This is because, very often, we rely on small wineries or facilities that are not equipped for these particular needs. Please let us know in advance if you have any of these needs so that we can consider alternative solutions.

  • We have to give an order to the requests that arrive: we don’t think it’s fair that a customer who calls takes away attention or has priority over another who has written an email.
  • Our tours are organized in close collaboration with our partners who are human like us and not machines! So even if we have tried to give a standard form to the products, behind there is always a craftsmanship work of fine-tuning, verification, adjustment: on the phone, we can almost never give “on the fly” the answers you are looking for, but we prefer to check them We are very few operators and we work remotely.
  • If one of us is talking to a client on the phone, it’s hard to keep track of what has been said. We give body and soul to SlowDays, but it’s important that we also preserve some piece of private life without a phone ringing at any time, working or not.
  • The written form, in the end, we believe it is also a protection for the customer with respect to what has been agreed upon.

We understand that to someone this method may create discomfort: we also like human contact, but at this time this is the only way of working that we are able to support and that also allows us to keep the right prices on our packages. We hope you can understand.

Have you seen one of our packages and think it might be right for you? Ok, send the link to your friends right away (I guess you have created a chat to share ideas) and ask for confirmation…In the package is written everything you need to know, including the price! Then, after you’ve gathered signups and set a date, write me right away! The sooner you do, the more certain you’ll be that you’ll get exactly what you want on the date you choose!

On my confirmation, I will ask you to pay a deposit by bank transfer. The balance will be due 15 days before the event.

The bride’s or groom’s share, unless special conditions are specified in the packages, is to be divided between the group.

We cannot make more than one estimate for a single client: we, therefore, ask you to decide which package you prefer based on the description on the website, then you can request availability so that we can block the date and activities for a few days…but only for one package. The quote is already on the site!

In general, we follow the conditions that you find on this page and that we summarize below

In case of withdrawal from the tourist package, the customer is, in any case, responsible for the payment of the price of the tourist package. If the withdrawal occurs for reasons other than those provided for in Article 7 of these General Conditions, the customer must pay, according to art.1373, paragraph III of the Civil Code, a cancellation fee as specified below:

10% of the price of the tourist package if the cancellation is made up to 30 days before departure
30% of the price of the tourist package if the cancellation is made between 29 and 18 days before departure
50% of the price of the tourist package if the cancellation is made between 17 and 10 days before departure.
75% of the price of the tourist package if the cancellation occurs between 9 and 3 days before departure
100% of the price of the tourist package if the cancellation is made after these terms.

If the number of participants changes by only one unit, you were supposed to be 9 and you will be 8 for example, we will recalculate the balance and the person who will not come will not have to pay the balance. Except for any fixed costs such as an exclusive guide for your group, or transport by bus/train, or in case of particularly small groups that would not allow us to cover the expenses “alive”.

In case of major changes, we will evaluate the moment with maximum transparency and flexibility as we have always done with all groups.

In case of cancellations due to force majeure (e.g., Covid-related region blocks), we will be able to postpone the event or cancel it.

In the event of bad weather (rain forecast on the Aeronautical Weather website 48 hours before the event with a probability of more than or equal to 50% at the times when the outdoor activities take place) it will be possible (for the outdoor activity only):

  • postpone the experience by agreeing on a new date at no extra charge
  • issue a voucher to the bride or groom for the total amount, who can then decide to use it within a year for any SlowDays package.
  • agree together an alternative date to celebrate anyway. The alternative may involve an extra charge and includes lunches in a farmhouse or restaurant, visits to museums or wine cellars with tastings; all this will have to be checked and booked in advance and cannot be agreed upon beforehand unless the alternative program fee is also paid. If the alternative program costs less, the difference will be refunded.
  • cancel the activity and receive a refund of the amount paid minus organizational costs (these will be assessed depending on whether the cancellation concerns the whole package or just one activity within it – a maximum of 15% will be retained)

We know that a guide can be a great added value and you can request one if you wish!

Details of each tour are provided after confirmation and payment (down payment or balance as appropriate) of the tour.

If you are not comfortable with what I can choose for you, I can tell you that we have been serving happy clients for 5 years and here is the proof 🙂

But that’s not enough! If there is something wrong, when you get the details (this has NEVER happened!!), we talk about it and find alternatives (within the budget of course 😛 !) and according to availability.

Once we receive the request we will work to check availability and we will respond as soon as possible. Once the availability is confirmed by us, you can then proceed with the payment by bank transfer, credit card or Satispay.

We’ve fine-tuned and tested several trails over time and want to share them with you!

You will receive a trail to follow on your phone. You will have to download an APP that we will show you. You will simply have to take you to the starting point, follow the arrow that will lead you through beautiful landscapes, at your own pace and without haste and without fear of getting lost!  The track will also include the various appointments/maps of your Tour.

You are not “required” to follow the path, it’s just a suggestion. Obviously, if you have cellar appointments or anything else you will need to ensure that you keep them.

With time, we have realized that it is the only way for us to give correct and fast answers to various doubts and requests.

How do our gift vouchers work? Our SlowBoxes!

You buy them now and they last a year! You can buy the voucher by clicking on the “Buy or Gift” button above or below and choose whether to send the voucher to the recipient or receive it yourself!

The date is chosen by the recipient of your gift! Just contact us when you have decided the date and we will check availability.

Our gift experiences are all independent and private, not in groups, and therefore there are no fixed dates: you can live both during the week and on weekends.

And if you do not like your choice? No problem, the recipient can exchange the voucher for another experience of equal value.

No, because ours are not standard experiences that are always the same. We collaborate with different wineries and it’s not always the same. Wineries change, routes change, wines change accordingly!  We make the winery reservation, after your confirmation.

You will have to trust us and our experience for the choice! On the other hand, I really want to take you to know something a little bit more particular.

In case of bad weather (rain), you can

  • postpone the experience by giving notice 24 hours in advance

or

  • receive a refund of 80% of the amount paid.

For other situations in which you wish to cancel please refer to the general conditions of the site.

 

Let’s just say that if the weather is really inclement, it can compromise the day! Otherwise, a little bit of risk sometimes can also be part of the experience. If it doesn’t rain a lot some activities can still be done!

For some packages, there are no problems because they don’t depend on the weather. If instead we are talking about outdoor activities, we can find alternatives such as winery tastings, lunches in osteria…or if you can, we could postpone!

Ours are self-paced tours, so we don’t have strict schedules.

There is no one waiting for you at the start of the walk, so some flexibility is allowed.

Obviously, the only thing to respect will be the time of the visit in the cellar and the entrance in the Spa (if included), but if you have special needs of time indicate it in the request and we will try to see if we can accommodate you!

Voucher

You can buy our tours directly from the website. Each product has a Buy/Gift section.
For some products, there are several formulas to choose from. You can do this from the drop-down menu.
Choose the formula you prefer.
Write the e-mail address to which you want to send the voucher:
  • If you buy it for yourself write your email address
  • If you give it as a gift you can:
    • write the e-mail of the recipient and we will send him the voucher or
    • enter your email and then send the voucher yourself
The purchase, with immediate payment (credit card), originates after a few minutes the gift voucher (be careful, sometimes it ends up in the SPAM box!).
If you prefer to pay later by bank transfer, proceed with the purchase as described above. Then make the transfer. Send the receipt in reply to this email.
Payment registration takes place during office opening hours (so be careful if you want to make a last-minute gift! It is only possible with a credit card)!
 
The recipient of the voucher has one year to redeem it.
How should you do it? Send an e-mail to this address (claudia@slowdays.it) and state the date you have chosen and the Voucher code. Within 48 hours maximum we will say if it is available
and then we will organize your tour. The reservation should arrive at least 15 days in advance, so there is a better chance of booking.
 

If you already have a date, you can write it in the notes. If it has already been agreed upon and checked with us, it will be confirmed. If we have not yet checked availability, we will get back to you as soon as possible with a confirmation or a new date.

 

Gifts are always welcome, but… it can happen that the person receiving the gift wants to replace it. Is that possible? Of course, it is! At the time of booking
tell me what you’d be interested in and, if it’s of equal value, we’ll replace it without any problem!

  1. How can I use it? By writing to claudia@slowdays.it. Tell me the date you are interested in and I will book your experience!
  2. When can I use it? The coupon is valid for one year. The expiry date is printed on the coupon. But remember to book at least 15 days before the requested date! Once you have booked the experience, the cancellation conditions are the same as those set out on the website for the package purchased, whether in the event of bad weather or cancellation for other reasons.
  3. What if I want to change my experience? Visit my website and write to me. You can choose an experience of equal value or, for the difference, a higher value.

(It is not necessary to present the Voucher, simply state the order number when applying)
