E-bike tours
Our tours are designed to be autonomous: thanks to our personalized and controlled tracks to follow on your cell phone.
We know that a guide can be a great added value and you can request one if you wish!
Our routes do not include dirt tracks. If you would like an e-bike tour with gravel trails, I can arrange it with a licensed bike tour guide.
We always try to offer you paved and, as far as possible, not-too-busy routes. Our tours are about 30-40 km long, which, with an e-bike, is a reasonable and pleasant route. The total height difference is always between 500 and 600 meters. We also have less demanding ways, but it also depends on the tour you choose and the stages you want to visit!
Our routes have all been tested. It may happen, in exceptional cases, that there are interruptions and detours. We apologize in advance, as we cannot be informed about everything in good time 🙂
We’ve fine-tuned and tested several trails over time and want to share them with you!
You will receive a trail to follow on your phone. You will have to download an APP that we will show you. You will simply have to take you to the starting point, follow the arrow that will lead you through beautiful landscapes, at your own pace and without haste and without fear of getting lost! The track will also include the various appointments/maps of your Tour.
You are not “required” to follow the path, it’s just a suggestion. Obviously, if you have cellar appointments or anything else you will need to ensure that you keep them.
Sportswear is recommended. Bring a backpack to hold any packed lunch and comfortable shoes, preferably closed-toed.
They will come in handy if you have padded cycling shorts, although most saddles have minimal padding.
If your tour includes a map to follow, bring two cell phones or a portable charger to make sure you don’t run out of battery power and can no longer see the route.
In case of bad weather (rain), forecast on the Air Force Weather site 48 hours before the event with a probability greater than or equal to 50%) ), it will be possible to
- postpone the experience by giving notice 24 hours in advance
or
- receive a refund of 80% of the amount paid.

If you are not comfortable with what I can choose for you, I can tell you that we have been serving happy clients for 5 years and here is the proof 🙂

The fact that we are a group implies a greater organizational effort (even for you I imagine!) and therefore it is advisable to contact us AT LEAST 3 weeks before the event, but the sooner the better!
Some of our tours cannot be adapted in case of allergies, intolerances or food preferences such as vegetarian/vegan. This is because, very often, we rely on small wineries or facilities that are not equipped for these particular needs. Please let us know in advance if you have any of these needs so that we can consider alternative solutions.

And that is what our job is all about: researching facilities, organizing in terms of travel and the requests you make, and coordinating the various experiences/locations to give you the right timing to enjoy your Tour in a Slow way.

In case of withdrawal from the tourist package, the customer is, in any case, responsible for the payment of the price of the tourist package. If the withdrawal occurs for reasons other than those provided for in Article 7 of these General Conditions, the customer must pay, according to art.1373, paragraph III of the Civil Code, a cancellation fee as specified below:
10% of the price of the tourist package if the cancellation is made up to 30 days before departure
30% of the price of the tourist package if the cancellation is made between 29 and 18 days before departure
50% of the price of the tourist package if the cancellation is made between 17 and 10 days before departure.
75% of the price of the tourist package if the cancellation occurs between 9 and 3 days before departure
100% of the price of the tourist package if the cancellation is made after these terms.
If the number of participants changes by only one unit, you were supposed to be 9 and you will be 8 for example, we will recalculate the balance and the person who will not come will not have to pay the balance. Except for any fixed costs such as an exclusive guide for your group, or transport by bus/train, or in case of particularly small groups that would not allow us to cover the expenses “alive”.
In case of major changes, we will evaluate the moment with maximum transparency and flexibility as we have always done with all groups.
In case of cancellations due to force majeure (e.g., Covid-related region blocks), we will be able to postpone the event or cancel it.
In the event of bad weather (rain forecast on the Aeronautical Weather website 48 hours before the event with a probability of more than or equal to 50% at the times when the outdoor activities take place) it will be possible (for the outdoor activity only):
- postpone the experience by agreeing on a new date at no extra charge
- issue a voucher to the bride or groom for the total amount, who can then decide to use it within a year for any SlowDays package.
- agree together on an alternative date to celebrate anyway.You can request our service to find an alternative to still celebrate on the same day. The price of the service is 10 euros per person. In case of an alternative with an equal or higher price to the already booked tour, the amount due for this service will be to be paid by immediate transfer/credit card together with the difference alternative tour amount. If the alternative found and proposed, has a lower price than the booked Tour, we will recalculate the amount, net of the service alternative, and return any excess amount.
The alternative may include lunches at farmhouses or restaurants, visits to museums or wineries with tastings, spas, and wellness centers, or visits to castles. We will listen to your suggestions and propose an alternative appropriate to your needs, consistent with the availability of suppliers.All will be to be verified and booked on the spot and cannot be agreed upon beforehand unless we also pay the fee for the alternative program
- cancel the activity and receive a refund of the amount paid minus organizational costs (these will be assessed depending on whether the cancellation concerns the whole package or just one activity within it – a maximum of 15% will be retained)
Horseback tours
We cooperate with several riding stables, so the horseback rides are not all done in the same place.
That said, especially for beginners, you need flat, “protected” terrain, and vineyards are not very suitable. In addition to this paramount issue, vineyards are privately owned, and the owners do not always like novice riders who might damage the plants and soil. Among other things, the instructor, in a vineyard, could hardly follow you closely.
In any case, the locations chosen are scenically stunning, mostly forested and will allow you to have a magnificent experience in contact with nature.
It is advisable to have long pants and closed shoes.
Absolutely! Our packages involving horseback riding are designed especially for beginners.
Before each walk, there will be a part in the stables to familiarize yourself with “the vehicle” and learn the basic rules that will be useful to you on the walk.
The timing of this part of the experience will be judged by the instructor, who, of course, is very experienced and will tackle the walk only when you feel you can.
Usually everyone can fully enjoy the experience and there are no problems whatsoever.
Our rides are designed to be suitable for everyone.

First of all, depending on the number of participants and the date, there can be adjustments and variations to the package. I give an example to illustrate:
You are a 10 people who want to come on a Saturday. I have to search among the vendors I work with, those available on that date, for ten people and that, as an environment and offer, fit the type of event you request. After defining one of the stages in your package, I need to arrange the others accordingly.
If the best winery is too far away from the vendor I had planned for the e-bikes, I have to choose one of the other, closer or otherwise more convenient. And so on, until I thought of your package for that particular day and the number of participants.
Consequently, after your request, I ask you for a few days to define and create the best quote for you.

There is no one waiting for you at the start of the walk, so some flexibility is allowed.
Obviously, the only thing to respect will be the time of the visit in the cellar and the entrance in the Spa (if included), but if you have special needs of time indicate it in the request and we will try to see if we can accommodate you!

The recipient of your gift chooses the date! Contact us when you have decided on the date, and we will check availability.
Our gift-giving experiences are all self-directed and private, not in groups, so there are no set dates: you can experience them either during the week or on weekends.
What if you don’t like your choice? The recipient can exchange the voucher for another experience of equal value.

The purchase, with immediate payment (credit card), originates the gift voucher after a few minutes (be careful, sometimes it ends up in the SPAM box!).
If, on the other hand, you prefer to pay later by bank transfer, proceed with the purchase as I described above. Then make the transfer. Send the receipt in response to this email.
Payment registration takes place during office hours (so be careful if you want to make a last-minute gift! It’s only possible with a credit card!)
Those who receive the voucher have one year to redeem it. Our tours run from mid-March to mid-November.
How will you need to do this? Send an email to this email address (claudia@slowdays.it) and state the date you choose and the Voucher code. Within 48 hours maximum, we will say if it is available, and then we will arrange your tour. Reservations should arrive 15 days in advance at least, so there is more chance of booking. If the time includes an overnight stay, we recommend booking at least a month in advance.
- How can I use it? By writing to claudia@slowdays.it. You will tell me your interest date, and I will book your experience!
- When can I use it? The coupon is valid for one year. The deadline date is printed on the coupon. But remember to book at least 15 days before the requested date for 1-day tours and one month in advance for vouchers that include an overnight stay!
- It is not necessary to present the Voucher; it is sufficient to state the order number at the application stage.
VOUCHER RESCUE AND BOOKING – Insights and things to know
SlowDays allows purchasing Gift Vouchers (called SlowBoxes) that refer to a particular Tour on the site at the time of purchase. Purchased Vouchers can be donated to others or purchased for oneself. The person who buys the Voucher is the purchaser; the person who receives and redeems the Voucher is the Voucher holder.
- Validity: Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Based on the seasonal needs of most facilities in our area, we point out that the redemption period for the Voucher is possible from March 15 until November 15 of each calendar year.
- Redemption: To redeem the Voucher, you must write to claudia@slowdays.it, stating that you are the holder of the voucher number (give order no.) and that you would like to use the Voucher on a particular date. In response, you will receive a quote with information about the purchased Tour. The customer can confirm the Tour described in the section and the date or request some changes. Upon acceptance, the following reservation will have all the characteristics of a package generally purchased on the site and will follow package cancellation rules.
- Change of dates: In the case of vouchers that only include outdoor activities, a date change may be requested with the lousy weather clause (*). Please note that if the Tour consists of an overnight stay, it will not be possible to move the entire Tour. Alternative/equivalent activities may be arranged instead of outdoor activities, or the Tour may be split into multiple dates to take advantage of all the services included.
- Change of dates due to force majeure causes not attributable to the client’s will: In case of cancellation due to force majeure, documented illness (**), or difficult family situations, the holder may request the shift of tour dates. SlowDays, after consulting with the suppliers involved, will notify the client of the cost of the move (administrative fees, non-refundable prepaid experiences). The cost can never exceed the total price of the purchased Voucher. The holder may accept the action with payment of the required fees. If the holder is no longer interested in booking another date, they may request a refund for the Tour minus the overhead expenses. The voucher refund will always be made to the voucher purchaser.
- Holder substitution: Up to 4 days before the tour start date, the holder may request substitution of the names of people who will use the Tour. SlowDays reserves the right to accept substitution after checking that all services included can be provided to people with different characteristics (***)
- Variation of voucher type: At the time of redemption, the holder may decide to change the Tour given as a gift. In this case, SlowDays will declare the amount collected at the purchase, and the holder can use it for any other Tour on the site. After booking, it will become, to all intents and purposes, a SlowDays package with all the features described below, including cancellations.
- Extension of expiration date: SlowDays vouchers are valid for one year from the date of issue. SlowDays will extend the initial expiration by an additional year. You can apply to extend the expiration date by paying an amount equal to 20 percent of the value of the Voucher and with a minimum of 20 euros per Voucher.
- Variation by necessity by SlowDays: SlowDays is committed to maintaining, for the duration of the Voucher’s validity, the experiences as described at the time of purchase, but special conditions may occur:
- Tour changed. Suppose the Tour is changed for contingent reasons (supplier no longer available, for example). In that case, SlowDays will seek an equivalent substitution which will be proposed and explained at the time of redemption.
- Canceled Tour. One or more experiences may be balanced. And with no possibility of substitution. In this case, SlowDays will propose alternatives of equal value and similar type. Always subject to the approval of the voucher holder.
- Tour Price Increase. SlowDays, even in the presence of price increases, will guarantee the redemption of the Voucher, up to a maximum of 10% difference. When the Tour, at the time of redemption, has a price displayed on the site with an increase greater than 10%, SlowDays will act following one of these alternatives (always with the agreement and prior notice of the voucher holder)

- Very High Season: Price increase or inability to offer voucher redemption (due to unavailability of facilities, for example). For the very high season, which runs from mid-September to mid-November, we encourage and recommend booking at least 60 days in advance, especially in the case of vouchers that include overnight accommodations. Same as point 3, regarding Tour Price Increase.
SlowDays will always guarantee the quality of the providers and experiences it publishes on the site. These clauses aim to preserve the quality of services provided, ensure fair compensation for providers, and protect the company’s continuity.
- (*) Stormy Weather: Outdoor activities are considered to be those related to E-bikes, Vespa, and Trekking Tours. The reference site is that of the Air Force Weather, which will be the text for SlowDays. The parameter that will allow the Tour to be moved, without charge to the client, will be given by a probability of rain greater than or equal to 50% 48 hours before the date. Suppose lousy weather does not allow for the Tour. In that case, we will contact you the day before (when the weather forecast becomes more reliable) to reschedule the day on a new date, arrange alternatives, or be partially refunded. This condition applies only to experiences where weather conditions are critical (it does not apply to overnight stays or indoor experiences, even if combined with outdoor adventures). For exceptional cases, in any case, please get in touch with us via email.
(**) Documented illness: Send a medical certificate stating the actual illness.
(***) Characteristics that must be checked to accept changes in tour participants: height for bikes, allergies and severe intolerances, age in the case of Vespa tours, or other details that may compromise the success of the Tour
When the payment is completed, the voucher is issued directly by the procedure that manages our virtual store.
If you paid online with PayPal or Stripe, the payment after a few minutes is registered automatically. As a result, the voucher will be created and sent to the email address you entered.
If you choose to pay by Bank Transfer, I ask you to send me the transaction details. With this information, I will manually intervene and record the payment; I will initiate the voucher-issuing process. We do this operation during business hours. So if you urgently need the voucher and are purchasing outside office hours, consider that you will not be able to receive the coupon immediately.
In any case, whether you pay by credit card or by bank transfer, you may not see the voucher. It is issued within a maximum of 30-60 minutes after payment. If you can’t find it in the mail or have already checked the SPAM box, write to me. Sometimes your mail filters may have prevented delivery. I always have a copy of the vouchers issued and can send them back to you.
We are a small company and don’t have a call center to bounce you!
Winery tours
Adherence to all safety-related directions given in the winery and communicated by staff is required.
Visitors must not stray from the group during the tour; under no circumstances are unaccompanied tours allowed.
Adults are responsible for children, who must be accompanied at all times.
The winery is not a bar. The producer makes himself available to share his experience and knowledge. If you are not interested in the world of wine and prefer a convivial time with friends, please tell me at the time of the quote. Your tour might be better suited to a typical Osteria or a nice restaurant and perhaps leave the winery visit for a quieter, more suitable time. SlowDays can’t understand the situation and expectations if you don’t share them at the time of the quote. I love to fulfill my clients’ requests and create with the suppliers I work with, experiences that are engaging and fulfilling on both sides.
At the quotation stage, you can always request times other than those we propose. It will be our care to try to accommodate you.
When the tour is finalized and the schedule has been agreed upon and we have sent it to you, it will be your responsibility to adhere to it.
In case you find that you are running late you will have to contact the supplier (I emphasize, the supplier and not us because it is the supplier who is waiting for you) and notify them. Normally the supplier will accept if the delay is small.
When faced with major delays after 30-45 minutes, he may reduce the time devoted to your experience or, in case of even more major delays, cancel your experience.
Remember that it is not ill will on his part, but his day has cadences already agreed upon with other clients or other commitments, and sometimes it is just impossible to deviate.
