Information valid for all formulas

The tour takes place in Alba, the historic and food-and-wine heart of the Langhe, and in the Langhe hills for those who choose the extended formula. Each stop is designed to help you discover authentic places and carefully selected local producers.

The tour length varies between a half day and a full day, depending on the selected formula. It’s a flexible experience that lets you explore both the city and the surrounding area at an easy pace.

Formula A requires at least four participants and is designed for small groups.

Formula B is also available for couples. It’s also ideal for groups of friends or family who want to celebrate an occasion.

Formula A includes a walk with food-and-wine stops: about 3–4 hours.

Formula B lasts 6–8 hours.

In both formulas, it’s important to respect the schedule, but we plan the day to leave time to visit and enjoy the places you pass through.

Transportation is not included in either formula. Formula A takes place entirely on foot in Alba, while Formula B requires your own car to reach the various stops in the Langhe. You can request an additional transportation or guiding service.

All our tours are organized on request, on the date you choose and for the number of people indicated.
After your request, we check availability and send you a quote with all the details.
To confirm, you simply pay a 30% deposit (the balance is due 15 days before departure).
If the date is very close, we may require full payment.
We accept bank transfer, credit card, or Satispay.
The quote always has an expiration date, clearly indicated.

SlowDays mainly communicates by email. It’s the best way for us to answer clearly, neatly, and quickly.

We prefer this method because it helps us manage timing, quotes, and details carefully, ensuring a more accurate service for everyone.

We share tour details after confirmation and payment.
SlowDays is not a third-party marketplace: we personally organize each package and select, case by case, the partners that best match style, quality, and availability.
Since 2016, we’ve worked with a network of trusted providers and satisfied clients. Reviews will tell you more about us.

If you have specific preferences, share them right away and we’ll evaluate options or alternatives that suit you better.

If weather conditions are uncertain, SlowDays will agree with you on a Plan B so the day isn’t ruined.
Depending on the tour type and your occasion, we may postpone, adapt, or modify the experience, aiming for a solution that keeps the spirit and goal intact.
Specific arrangements may vary depending on the event or package.

Our base prices do not officially change between high and low season: we keep the same reference rates all year round.
However, it’s good to know that in fall—peak season in the Langhe—some accommodations or services may apply surcharges that we must follow. Booking well in advance is always a smart idea! Also, since each quote is personalized, there may be small price variations depending on the partners available at the time of confirmation. We always aim for the best balance between quality, availability, and price 🌿

When you send your request, you can ask to customize your tour:

  • Preferred schedule
  • Add or replace an experience with another: dinner, aperitivo, an overnight stay, cake, one of the many activities you’ll find on our site and in other tours. We’ll evaluate together based on availability, timing, and how the day is organized.
  • Add transportation

Trekking in the Langhe

Routes vary by length and difficulty, but remain accessible and scenic. Keep in mind the hills go up and down—you should expect a bit of effort!
We provide a track, points of interest, and tips for the best stops.
Depending on the formula, we can include lunch, tastings, or a winery visit.
