Information for all packages
This weekend takes place in the Langhe, with overnight stays either in Alba or at farmhouse stays in the hills. It’s the perfect setting for slow moments, good wine, and shared experiences with friends. You’ll be surrounded by an authentic, welcoming landscape that makes every activity feel special.
The package lasts two days in total, with timing you can define at booking. We adapt planning to your group’s needs, based on arrival times and partner availability. You’ll receive a clear schedule with times and addresses for every activity. You can extend your stay if you wish.
Starting from 2 people
We confirm activity times after booking, based on your group’s arrival. We organize the experiences to leave plenty of space for free time, conversation, and real relaxation. A personalized schedule will keep everything smooth and on time.
Transportation is not included and is the group’s responsibility. You’ll move between experiences with your own vehicles or with extra services we can book on request. Having a car makes it easy to explore between town, hills, and wineries.
We organize all our tours on request, on the date you choose and for the number of participants indicated.
After your request, we check availability and send you a detailed quote.
To confirm, you simply pay a 30% deposit (the balance is due 15 days before departure).
If your date is very close, we may ask for full payment.
We accept bank transfer, credit card, or Satispay.
Every quote has a clear expiration date.
SlowDays communicates mainly by email. It’s the best way to reply clearly, neatly, and quickly to each request.
Write to claudia@slowdays.it or fill in the form on the tour page—we’ll get back to you soon. That way, everything we discuss stays written down and easy to review.
If a call becomes useful, we’ll evaluate it later.
We prefer this approach because it helps us manage timing, quotes, and details properly, ensuring a more accurate service for everyone.
We share tour details after confirmation and payment.
SlowDays isn’t a third-party portal: we personally organize each package, choosing partners case by case for style, quality, and availability.
Since 2016 we’ve worked with a network of trusted suppliers and happy clients. Reviews will tell you more about us.
If you have specific preferences, share them right away and we’ll evaluate the best match or similar alternatives.
If the weather is bad or uncertain, SlowDays will agree with you on a Plan B so the day stays enjoyable.
Depending on the tour type and the occasion, we can reschedule, adapt, or adjust the experience, always trying to keep the spirit and your goal intact.
Specific options may vary based on the event or package chosen.
Our prices don’t officially change between high and low season: we keep the same reference rates all year.
Still, it’s good to know that in fall—peak season in the Langhe—some partners may apply increases, and we must align with them. Booking well in advance is always a smart idea! Also, because each quote is tailored, you may see small price variations depending on the available partners at the time of confirmation. We always aim for the best balance between quality, availability, and value 🌿
When you submit your request, you can ask to personalize your tour:
- Your preferred schedule
- Add an experience: dinner, aperitivo, an overnight stay, among the many activities you’ll find on our site and in other tours. We’ll evaluate together based on availability, timing, and the day’s organization.
SlowDays Weekend
Each package starts from an idea—romantic, gourmet, sporty, or wellness—and includes accommodations, experiences, and tastings.
We work with selected partners: small, genuine places.

Where to stay for a weekend in Piedmont?
We’ve found two different options for you: a genuine, welcoming farmhouse stay and a charming B&B in the center of Alba.
When is the best time for a getaway to the Langhe?
The best time for your Langhe weekend with friends depends on your availability—and on what you want from the trip.
- Spring (March–June) to enjoy mild sunny days, easy walks, and wonderful horseback rides
- Summer (June–September), warm weather that makes the pool and terrace aperitivos even better
- Fall (September–November) if you love intense colors, great wine, truffles, and that magical feeling of the hills in full glow
- Winter (December–February) is quieter and less crowded, ideal for cultural visits, long lunches, and maybe a half-day at the spa
In general, spring and fall are considered the best seasons to visit the Langhe—the hills will absolutely win you over.

Weekend ideas with friends: where should you go?
Italy has so many great destinations. If you don’t know them well, start with the Langhe. If you already know them, I don’t need to convince you! The most authentic Langhe: gentle, less crowded, still full of hidden corners—where you can enjoy Slow tourism, close to nature.
How to plan your Langhe weekend with friends
- Pick a date and a time of year when everyone is available. Then decide how many days feel right for the group.
- Decide where you want to stay. Some friends love the countryside, while others prefer being in town.
- Plan a few experiences for the weekend. The Langhe are famous for wine, hazelnuts, food, castles, and outdoor activities. You’ll find dozens of ways to enjoy time together.
- Decide how many cars you’ll need. You can arrive easily by train, but you’ll need a car to explore the area (or you’ll want to arrange a private driver!).
- Create a group chat and start sharing ideas and budgets—then the trip will take shape.
- Finalize details and remember to check dietary needs (allergies to share when booking!).
- Travel and start enjoying your getaway.
- Share photos and travel memories afterward.
