A weekend between the woods and the Piedmontese table
Together with the trifolao, you will enter the woods in search of truffles, observing the relationship between humans and dogs and discovering traditions, seasons, and curiosities linked to this precious product from the Langhe.
After the search, a farmer’s lunch is planned at the trifolao house, a simple, welcoming setting where you can taste local cured meats and cheeses, home-cooked dishes, butter tajarin with a black truffle scratch, and hazelnut cake. Langhe wine will be in no shortage.
The formula also includes a full Piedmontese dinner, an overnight stay with breakfast, and Road Book SlowDays to continue discovering the area without rushing.

The stay and experiences take place in different locations in the Langhe and Alta Langa, based on the chosen formula and availability.
Movements between the structure, forest, cellar, and experience locations are carried out independently by your own means.
The weekend lasts two days and one night.
The truffle search typically lasts about an hour and a half. The experiences will be distributed over the two days based on the chosen formula, supplier schedules, and availability.
We cannot organize the weekend in April, May, or September. In other periods, the type of truffle varies by season and regional calendar.
You must purchase at least 2 SlowBox.
Two people can use the formulas, and truffle hunting can be shared with other participants. The overnight stay is planned in a double room with a bathroom.
Overnight accommodation is planned in a selected facility in the Langhe, chosen based on availability and formula.
We collaborate directly with agritourism, B&Bs, and small hotels we’ve known and used for a long time, prioritizing hospitality, tranquility, and a suitable location for the program.
All weekend travel is independent.
You must have your own car or a rental car because the woods, the structure, and other experiences are not easily accessible by public transport.
No problem: the recipient can replace the SlowBox with another experience of equal value.

The truffle-hound and its dog follow the forest’s signs and what nature offers. For this reason, you can’t plan or guarantee finding a truffle.

The Langhe are located in Piedmont, Northern Italy, south of Turin. You can reach them by car from the Asti Est or Alba exits.
