Self-guided trekking
The route starts in La Morra or a nearby hamlet and crosses the Barolo hills. The exact locations of the stops are provided in the itinerary after booking.
The experience takes a full day. The trek is about 9 km long and includes uphill, level and downhill sections. The usual start time is around 10 a.m.; final timings depend on the booked stops.
Minimum purchase of 2 SlowBoxes. Additional vouchers do not have to be purchased in pairs.
This is a self-guided trek along minor roads and paths through the vineyards. It is not technical, but it includes climbs and descents and requires a reasonable level of fitness for walking in the hills. You can follow the route on your phone, even offline.
You make your own way to the starting point. The spa option requires an approximately 15-minute drive after the trek. Bring suitable walking shoes, water and clothing appropriate for the season.
Choose the option and number of participants, buy online and receive an undated voucher by email. The recipient has 12 months from the purchase date to book the experience by writing to claudia@slowdays.it with the voucher code and their preferred date. Booking is subject to availability at the included stops.
If you pay by card, the voucher arrives by email within a few minutes; please check your spam folder too. If you pay by bank transfer, the voucher is sent during office hours after payment has been recorded. You can provide your own email address or the recipient’s.
The route is about 9 km long, with climbs and descents in the Barolo hills. It is not a technical trail, but you should be used to walking in the hills and wear suitable shoes.
Both include the self-guided trek and lunch. The Lunch and winery option includes lunch at an osteria and a winery visit with tasting at the end of the route. The Lunch and spa option includes lunch at an agriturismo and 90 minutes at a spa reached by car.
The voucher is valid for 12 months from the purchase date. The experience is arranged by reservation during the venues’ operating periods and subject to our partners’ availability. We recommend contacting us at least 15 days before your preferred date.
The recipient can exchange the voucher for another experience of equal value, or choose a higher-value experience and pay the difference.
