Your package

Prices are calculated for a minimum of 2 participants

One night with bed & breakfast, vineyard dinner, winery visit and tasting

160per person

What’s included:

  • Overnight stay with breakfast at a farmhouse in Montelupo
  • Vineyard dinner in Montelupo. Full dinner, wines included.
  • Winery visit and tasting with local boards to pair
  • A Langhe guide to help you explore the area with our tips

Two days and one night in the Langhe. You’ll arrive in the afternoon, with enough time to wander around using our suggestions. In the late afternoon, you’ll transfer and check in at the selected farmhouse stay in the heart of the Langhe, in Montelupo.
You’ll have time to get ready for dinner, but… no heels or long dresses! This is a real, down-to-earth vineyard dinner, not one of those glossy events where you only see the countryside in the background. Here, it will truly feel like the old farmers’ dinners—after long hours of work—sharing honest local dishes, lots of laughter, and maybe the folk songs everyone knows.
Your night at the nearby farmhouse stay will be the perfect ending to this romantic, unforgettable day.

The next day brings another must-do in the Langhe: an engaging winery visit with a final tasting of wines paired with local specialties.

Note: your overnight stay is at the same farmhouse hosting the vineyard dinner. If it’s not available, or if you’d like something more upscale, we can propose other options.

SlowDays isn’t a third-party marketplace: we personally organize each package, choosing partners based on style, quality, and availability.
Since 2016 we’ve worked with a trusted network of vetted suppliers and happy clients. Reviews will tell you more about us.

If you have specific preferences, share them right away and we’ll explore the best match or close alternatives.

If the weather turns bad or conditions look uncertain, SlowDays will agree with you on a Plan B so the day stays enjoyable.
Depending on the tour and the occasion, we can reschedule, adapt, or adjust the experience—always aiming to keep the spirit and your goal intact.
Specific options can vary based on the event or package you choose.

Our base prices don’t officially change between high and low season: we keep the same reference rates all year.
Still, it’s good to know that in fall—peak season in the Langhe—some partners may apply higher rates, and we must align with them. Booking well in advance is always a smart idea. Also, because every quote is tailored, you may see small price adjustments depending on which partners are available at the time of confirmation. We always aim for the best balance of quality, availability, and value 🌿

When you submit your request, you can ask to customize your tour:

  • Your preferred schedule
  • Add or swap an experience: dinner, aperitivo, an overnight stay, a cake, or one of the many activities you’ll find on our site and in other tours. We’ll evaluate options together based on availability, timing, and the day’s overall flow.
  • Add transportation

Picnic in the hazelnut grove

un picnic immersi nella natura delle langhe

Vineyard dinners create unforgettable memories—but we’re pretty sure the picnic on day two will be just as exciting (and delicious). You’ll be in the Barolo area, not far from Monforte d’Alba, hosted by a winery surrounded by nature.

Your “dining room” will be a lovely lawn, hazelnut trees for shade, genuine local products to enjoy in the green, a soft musical backdrop, and birdsong all around.

You can choose between two picnic basket options:

  • Sweet basket: hazelnut cake, roasted hazelnuts, chocolate salami, local Langhe cookies, jams and honey with bread. 1 bottle of red wine for every 2 people.
  • Savory basket: bread and cheese, bread and salami, bread with Piedmont-style sauces, roasted hazelnuts with honey and jam. 1 bottle of red wine for every 2 people

You’ll have time to relax and enjoy every bite. It will be hard not to drift into a blissful little nap!

Our suggestions for your free time

  • A stroll through Alba’s historic center, with an aperitivo in a historic café
  • A visit to Grinzane Cavour Castle, one of the symbols of the Langhe, and the educational vineyard at its feet
  • A visit to the Wine Museum inside Barolo Castle
  • A visit to Serralunga Castle with a truly engaging guided tour

or add one of our Langhe tours: on horseback, by Vespa, by e-bike, on foot
