Crayon vineyard and whimsical “Langhetti”

With our “The Vineyard of Pastels” itinerary,

discover a unique and fun itinerary among some of Langhe’s most original attractions!

We like alternative routes, and above all, we are happy to propose simple days in the middle of nature to discover the Langhe in a SLOW way!

We think that the E-bike is a fantastic means to ride in the hills: the climbs would be too “tough” with the standard bike (muscular, as the experts call it), but the E-bike allows you to do a bit of fatigue, but not too much…and then do you want to put the descents after the exhaustion of the climb? Priceless!!!

Our Tours are designed without a guide to enjoying the day in freedom: you will have a personalized track to follow on your cell phone, so you don’t get lost! Very easy!

YOU DECIDE THE DATE, AND WE CONFIRM AVAILABILITY IN A MAXIMUM OF 24 HOURS!

Formulas

Slowdays offers all tours and packages on demand, without a set date, and exclusively for your “group” (starting even from 1 person!). If you like our proposal, ask us for availability for the date that suits you and the number of participants. Within a few hours, we will confirm it for you!

And if you like, you can also give the package to whomever you like!

E-bike rental, map to follow on a cell phone, and lunch-aperitif in the legendary Crayon Vineyard

FORMULA A - 85€ PER PERSON

la vigna dei pastelli

The Langhe Crayon Vineyard, the Coazzolo Little Church, Neive, and the Camo Open-Air Museum…what else?

ROUTE DESCRIPTION:

Departure from Santo Stefano Belbo – Approximately 35 km on paved secondary roads – 610 meters total elevation gain – Classification: medium

WHAT FORMULA A INCLUDES

  • One day of Ebike rental starting at 10 a.m.
  • Personalized map of the route to follow on your phone like a navigator
  • Aperitif lunch at the Crayon vineyard (the one with the giant colored pencils!) consisting of 2 white and two red wines, cooked and raw salami, lard, Bra sausage, patties, coleslaw, and three types of cheeses. The rustic wooden table will be set right in the vineyard, and if it is very sunny, a tarp spread between the rows will shelter you.

You will then continue to the colorful little church of Coazzolo, you cannot miss the giant Coazzolo bench, and most importantly, you will be able to get to Neive, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. On the way back, one more treat: the open-air museum of Camo, with magnificent outdoor exhibits by contemporary artists (warning: don’t miss from the belvedere one of the most beautiful views of the Langhe!).

Bike return by 6 p.m.

PATH INSIGHTS

The crayon vineyard

Why put giant pencils to mark out the rows? But to be noticed, right?

Initially, the vineyard owner’s idea was to restrict his vineyard from his neighbors to indicate to those working for him where they should stop…from there, becoming a tourist attraction is a short step!

Coazzolo small church

A walk in Neive, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy

This is a place not to be missed if you come to the Langhe! Neive has been listed among Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages for a few years now, and of course, there is more than one reason to visit it

Neive, what to see?

In Neive, it is nice to be amazed, walk in the alleys, and discover the wine shops; the views of the Langhe are unparalleled.

There are several wineries in the village, some that can be visited even without a reservation if it is not high season (like the Cantina del Glicine, which is very interesting and dates back to 1582)

There are several restaurants of all levels…look for the one with ivy all over the facade…we’re sure you won’t be able to miss photographing it!

Camo’s open-air museum

We told you that this tour had as its theme whimsical “langhetti…” Claudio Lorenzoni is one of them: since 2013, he has been hosting the works of young artists who leave their jobs in this beautiful museum that anyone looking for inspiration can visit free of charge every day of the year.
