Horse riding in the Alta Langa region
We collaborate with several riding stables in the area, which have been tried and tested by many customers. We choose based on availability, season, and the organization of the day.
The duration of the horseback ride depends on the formula: 1h or 1h30. In addition, there will be a transfer (independently) that will lead you to the food and wine stage. You can allow about 3-4 hours in total.
The purchase of at least 2 SlowBoxes is required. You don’t need a multiple of 2 for additional purchases.
When redeeming the voucher and based on the chosen formula, you can define the optimal times to fully enjoy the experience.
Arrival at the riding school and movement during the tour are independent. The distances between the riding school and the food and wine stage are never excessive.
The SlowBox is a gift experience in the Langhe, Roero, or Monferrato regions, to be enjoyed independently and without fixed dates. An original idea to surprise your loved ones!

SlowBox recipients have 12 months to choose a date and book their experience. Our proposals are always private, not in groups, and available both during the week and at weekends. -
Easy, stress-free exchange
If the recipient prefers a different experience, they can exchange the SlowBox for a tour of equal value or choose a different option and pay the difference.
- Choose the SlowBox and, if applicable, the Formula from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the required data and the email address of the voucher delivery (yours or that of the recipient).
- Credit card: the voucher arrives in a few minutes by email (also check SPAM).
- Bank transfer: complete the order, send the receipt; We send the voucher during office hours after the payment has been registered.
- The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Tours run from mid-March to mid-November.
- To book: write to claudia@slowdays.it indicating voucher code and desired date.
- We will respond within 48 hours. Book at least 15 days in advance (preferably 1 month if you plan to stay overnight).

The Langhe are located in Piedmont, in northern Italy, south of Turin. They can be easily reached by car (Asti Est exit) of the A21 motorway or by train with the Turin-Alba connection.
For this experience you need your own or rented vehicle.
No, the riding school will adapt the ride to your level. It is a peaceful experience, suitable even for complete beginners.
A horseback riding experience: thrills in nature
Riding through the woods and over the hilltops.
Without asphalt or roads with vehicles. Senza asfalto né strade con veicoli. Each ride will be tailored to your actual riding ability and your confidence with horses. You will be in the unspoiled nature of the Alta Langa, where the last vineyards give way to woods and pastures.
We begin with a brief introduction to the riding school: you will be shown some basic rules and you can start to familiarize yourself with the animals. The experience is also suitable for complete beginners, and the length of the introductory part will depend on your experience or your aptitude for horse riding. Highly experienced instructors will accompany you throughout the walk in the woods; depending on the size of your group, you may be joined by other participants.
You will walk along part of “Il Sentiero del Partigiano Johnny” (The Path of Partisan Johnny), which retraces the places where the partisan Johnny fled, as described in the novel of the same name by Beppe Fenoglio, set in this corner of the Langa region.
Each package will also include a food and wine stop.
