The experience takes place among the woods and hills of the Langhe, in the areas most favorable for the white truffle of Alba.
The locations vary depending on the season and the availability of the truffle hunter (trifolao).
The whole experience takes about half a day, including the trip to the cellar after the truffle hunt.
A minimum purchase of 2 SlowBoxes is required. Additional purchases do not need to be multiples of 2.
When redeeming the voucher, depending on the season and the availability of the trifolao, the best times to fully enjoy the experience can be determined.
The activity also takes place in uncertain weather conditions: the trifolao assesses the most favorable conditions. In case of severe weather, the date can be rescheduled at no extra cost.
You are responsible for getting to the research site and traveling around during the tour. The distances between the research areas and the winery are never excessive.
The SlowBox is a gift experience in the Langhe, Roero, or Monferrato areas, to be enjoyed independently and without fixed dates. An original idea to surprise someone you love!

You can send the voucher directly to the recipient by email or receive it yourself to give in person whenever you prefer. Payment by credit card immediately generates the voucher, ready to be gifted. - Valid for one year, from mid-March to mid-November
The recipient has 12 months to choose the date and book their experience. All our experiences are private, never in groups, and available both on weekdays and weekends. - Easy exchange, stress-free
If the recipient prefers a different experience, they can replace the SlowBox with another tour of equal value or choose a different one by adding the price difference.

- Credit card: the voucher will arrive by email within a few minutes (don’t forget to check your SPAM folder).

The white truffle of Alba is hunted from September to January, while the black truffle from June to December, following the official Piedmont regional calendar issued each year.
SlowDays schedules the experience according to the season and the truffle hunter’s availability.
The Langhe region is located in Piedmont, northern Italy, south of Turin. It is easily accessible by car (Asti Est exit) from the A21 motorway or by train on the Turin–Alba line.
For this experience, you will need your own vehicle or a rental car.
