FORMULA A: HORSEBACK RIDING AND LUNCH IN THE COUNTRYSIDE
We are located between Roero and Monferrato in a beautiful farmhouse with adjacent riding stables halfway between Alba and Turin.
The scenery is lovely, and on a good day, you can see the entire Alpine arc. All around the farmstead, located in open country, woods, and hazel groves for your horseback riding.
Antonella, the manager of the riding stables, is very experienced, even with beginners, and she will be the one to take care of you and familiarize you with the horse from the first minute.
The walk always begins with a part in the riding hall, which is used to understand the rules of the stables and some basics about the horse. Depending on your familiarity and confidence, the instructor will evaluate the length of this part before going out for the actual walk.
The horseback riding experience lasts for one hour, which is the recommended time, especially for the inexperienced: a longer time is not sustainable in most cases.
After the horseback ride, you will be served an excellent and genuine typical lunch at the same farmstead.
The country lunch, prepared with organic vegetables grown at the farm, consists of 4 appetizers, a first course, and the main course with a side dish and dessert. A glass of house wine is included.
The horseback ride and lunch take place at the same facility.

FORMULA B - 120 EUR PER PERSON
FORMULA B: HORSEBACK RIDING AND WINERY-TASTING LUNCH
The horseback ride lasts for one hour and thirty minutes. It starts preferably at 10 a.m., again with a brief introduction in the stables, where you will be shown some basic rules and can begin to familiarize yourself with the animals. The experience is, in fact, also suitable for absolute beginners, and the time of the introductory part will depend precisely on your expertise or inclination toward the horse and its world.
Very experienced instructors will accompany you during the walk in the Roero woods.
We thought we would complete our “slow day” with another activity that will allow you to discover the extraordinary wines of the Langhe and Roero. Then, after your ride, you will drive to a beautiful winery – a farmhouse for a visit to the winery and a decadent lunch tasting consisting of a welcome drink, two appetizers, one first course, a 1-second course with a side dish, and dessert. Water, coffee, grappa, cover charge included, and most importantly, the pairing with four local wines.
The riding school where you will have the horseback riding experience and the winery where you will do the tasting are not in the same facility (you will have to move by car)-about 25 minutes of pleasant back roads.
